Hiya,
Thought I'd better introduce myself. I am Emily and I am 23 (I am the girl in my profile pic without the glasses). I'm 5'11 and I currently weigh 15 stone 12 pounds (222 pounds). Its hard writing my weight down for everyone to see, esp since some of my friends are on here too but I know they will not judge (well they better not!). I was orginally 247 pounds (17st 9lb) on Jan 07 2013. I would like to be 10st 7lb or 10st.
The reason I have decided to get rid of this weight as I have lived the last two years like a boring old woman. I'm in my 20's and I can't wear nice clothes that other girls my age are wearing or enjoy nights out (when I actually pluck up the courage to go out). I have wardrobe filled with size 8-12 clothes that I can't fit into. I also want to be healthy, my family has a long history of heart disease and heart attacks and I don't want to be next.
I have started 10k training twice a week and I use my cross trainer. I am trying to increase my jogging to 3-4 times a week including training with my running group.
If anyone has any tips or just wants to chat feel free to add me.
xx

Hi Emily! I would love to encourage each other! I am older than you, but I can relate to turning down FUN because of clothing issues! I understand the issue with family health problems! I am proud of you for thinking about that! You can add me as your friend! Lets motivate each other!!0
