Forearm pain from deadlifts.

OP, more to the point--do you do exercises such as pull-ups? They improve forearm strength a lot, too. I would say that farmer carries might be too similar to deadlifts, mechanically. Try pull-ups/chin-ups, with different types of grips.
Yessir indeed have been doing wide grip /palms out pull ups and narrow grip/palms in chin ups. They are killer, but if that will help too I will definitely have to giv'er.0 -
Like it's been said I don't see the issue with gloves unless your training to compete. Callous's ain't cool when they crack and bleed which they probably will eventually. They hurt and unless you are a deadly serious lifter you might as well protect the things you actually use to lift with....your hands. It's not a cop out to wear them. It doesn't make you any more serious about lifting if you don't wear them, it's personal preference at the end of the day. I've lifted with and without them so I'm not biased one way or another.0

Talked over some of your advice with my trainer and we tried wrist wraps on Friday. It was awesome, first time my body got tired before my arms or grip gave out. Thanks again all.0
