Hello Everyone!
I just joined yesterday. I am hoping that this site will help me be more conscious of what and how much I eat. My biggest problem is that I am a horribly picky eater (i.e. only vegetables I even remotely like are potatoes and steamed broccoli and carrots). I am trying to force myself to take vitamins to make up for my terrible nutrition habits.

It's nice to see another picky eater. Vegies are not my strong suit. I found that it not so much that I don't like vegies it's how they are prepared that makes the difference. For an example Green and yellow zucchini cooked Andante in a pan with a tsp of teriyaki is great. Asparagus with Worcestershire sauce is good. Spaghetti squash with a little tomato sauce is awesome. I guess what I'm saying don't give up on vegies. Keep on trying.0

The easiest way to "hide" vegetables is to blend them into a smoothie with some fruit or juice them. I found great advice and recipes at www.sproutman.com. I even grow my own sprouts for my lunch time smoothies. Mung bean sprouts with an apple or peach and some whey powder and I have lunch or post-workout snack. A few chugs and it's gone. No endless salad chewing for me! Good luck.0
