Anxiety Disorder/Breathing when exercising

I have Anxiety Disorder and it can be really difficult when exercising. When I start to exert myself in any way, I tend to have difficulty breathing, end up breathing really shallow, have a mind fog and almost end up fainting. Then because I breathe too often through my mouth, I get a really sore throat.

So I have to slow myself down every so often to adjust if I feel like my levels are getting out of control. I have a trainer who is trying to help me with running. It's quite frustrating because he thinks my anxiety is just an excuse and that I'm not trying hard enough. Like he thinks I just made it up ahhh

Anyway, does anyone else have any issue with anxiety? Or has anyone got any tips on how to control my breathing properly?

Thank you :)

I had the same problem until i learned about " diaphragmatic breathing" it's basically in through your nose and expanding your stomach (like a balloon is in it) the out though the mouth. it took me a few weeks to get it down.
