fat vs. calories on the nutrition label

Which is the better product to eat? You have two kinds of something. One is lower in fat, the other is lower in calories. I find this in everything I look at, and it makes my decision difficult as which to get.

Dietary fat doesn't make you fat, an excess of calories does. Low-fat products often have extra sugars and other additives to replace the flavor you lose by cutting fats out. I only choose low-fat or non-fat products if I like the taste of them better.0
