Slow weightloss!

I am a 5 year gastric bypass patient. I have been doing MFP to jump start my weightloss. For some reason I'm not seeing the results that my friends are. So if anyone wants to look over my diary and help me out please feel free to do so.

thanks:smile:

Need more info. How much weight have you lost and over what period of time? Remember, this isn't 'the biggest loser' and you can't expect to be losing 10lbs/week like they do.

I am a slow loser too, i know how much it sucks, especially when you see everyone else around you losing two or three pounds a week! It doesn't always mean you're doing anything wrong, (although a lot of the time it does!), but everyone's body is different and loses weight at different speeds. Yes, it can disheartening to stick steadfast to a diet, to go to the gym four times a week, to find that you've only lost half a pound in a week, but stick with it; every little bit helps :)

Sorry to say but being a gastric bypass person, I am sure you are suppose to follow something for pretty much the rest of your life for sustained weight loss.. I would go back to that since other people's loss isn't going to reflect what you can lose.

People lose at different speeds. As long as it's coming off I don't see the problem here.

The only thing I can see from your diary is that you use a lot of "generic" or "homemade" entries. Unless you are calculating the calories yourself from your own recipes those aren't always accurate. They are good as a guide once in a while when you don't know the calories in something but I would try to stay away from relying on them on an every day basis.
