Jillian Michael's workouts

I am 5"3 117 and I was wondering how many calories (round about) are burned using the Jillian Michaels workouts?

30 day shred?
6 week abs ?
ripped in 30?

  • That is different for everyone. I am 5'2 and 123 lbs and I have only been doing it for a few weeks and not everyday. Will not give you a excuse why but anyway I started at 129 calories burned but I am up to 146 calories burned but I am still working up to doing the complete first 10 days all of it with out stopping . I am only able to do 5 girl push ups. but there rest I can do most of it. I hope this helps. Get a heart rate monitor.

    It depends on your heart rate. You could go out and buy an expensive monitor, OR, you could just take your heart rate after each circuit and average it over the 30 or so minutes of the workouts and use this equation:

    "For females, derive the calories that you burned. This is given by the equation C = (0.4472 x H -- 0.05741 x W + 0.074 x A -- 20.4022) x T / 4.184. Assume that you're a 28-year-old female weighing 146 pounds. Your average heart rate during an exercise session that lasted 36 minutes was 138 bpm. You burned C = (0.4472 x 138 -- 0.05741 x 146 + 0.074 x 28 -- 20.4022) x 36 / 4.184 = 301 calories.
