So I started Couch to 5K in July, and completed the 9 week program - able to run 3.1 miles. Since then, I've been fairly consistent running every other day (with the exception of a couple of weeks when I was sick).
Today, I ran 4.5 miles NONSTOP!!!! It was an outdoor run, included several hills, including one monster hill that makes me tired just to drive up it, let alone RUN up.
I cannot tell you how proud I am of myself, how good this accomplishment feels.
I ROCKED MY RUN TODAY!!!!

Awesome! I've been stuck in week 6 forever. The 25 min run is daunting to me. I'm gonna get it done this week though....
Good inspiration for me!0 -

I believe in you - you WILL get it done! :flowerforyou: Good luck and have fun with it!
It seemed like I was also at the same point for what seemed like forever. I was afraid to do other programs at the same time, thinking I would overwork myself.... but I've been doing tons o lunges and squats and I can tell it's made a huge difference in my strength. Doubt that last mile would've happened without all the extra work I've been putting in... (Patting self on the back). :happy:0
