Unconfuse Me

I am sedentary. I do walking to the store, park way n the back of the lot so I walk further. I track my house cleaning activities on MFP. I am also burning calories sitting, watching TV and the like. I have arthritis so it is hard for me to do hard cardio, even lite cardio is a challenge. Why can't I track all activities and calories that my body burns during the day, why just excercise? My goal is to lose 1 pound per week, I have 14 lbs to go for my goal weight. My RMR is 1433, BMR is 1476 and BMI 26.5. My calories intake is 1290 or more a day and my actual 'cardio' is around 350 per day. Can I track my resting activities in MFP?

MFP already assumes you're alive all day and factors that into your calories. If you count those calories again you're basically double dipping and counting them twice.0

Even set at sedentary I believe MFP (someone correct me if I'm wrong) have factored in your daily activities already. So by logging those activities again you are doubling up the calorie burn for them. You don't need to exercise to lose weight, it's more for overall health. You will still lose if you are eating at a calorie deficit.0
