Temporary Weight Loss?

So I've had a stressful week - boyfriend and I broke up. And I tend to stop eating when upset. So as a result, I am way under my calories this week. I've lost a few pounds but I'm not sure if it's from not eating enough this week or it's my regular schedule of weight loss (I've been tracking and eating well for about a month and just started losing weight).

I don't want to count this loss as a success but do you think it's just a temporary weight loss and is there a good chance I'll gain the weight back once I start eating my normal calories (1600 a day)?

And what can I do to get back on track when I haven't been able to eat enough?

Sorry to hear about your break up, those are rough times.
If you're eating at a deficit at 1600, then I don't think you'd gain the weight back when you return to normal. In the meantime, when you do choose to eat then go for more calorie-dense foods to make up for lack of eating at other times of the day (examples: avocados, bread, peanut butter, etc)
