I usually do a combination of squats, bicep curls and tricep excercises with 5 lb weights which total about 30 min. I found where to track that but it does not say how many calories I burn. I want to make sure I am eating enough. Does anyone know how to calculate that or get a rough estimate?

is it strength training or cardio with weights? either way get a HRM it's your closest bet for strength training.0

I would have to say to get a HRM. I workout three time a week for 30 minutes with a training mainly lifting weights wiht alittle bit of Cardio (Mountain Climbers, burpees, walking lunges) built in and I only burn about 170 calories based on my HRM monitor.0

Thanks, I never thought of that.0

you can type in strength training under the cardiovascular search to track the cals. The calories burned appear accurate for light to moderate weight lifting. You want to double it for high intensity and heavy lifting.0
