Hello,

I love going to movies and going out to eat. However, I know that it doesn't help my weight loss goals. Does anybody have physical activity date ideas? (skiing, bikes, bowling, skating)

Thanks in advance!

PS I live in North Dakota - Minnesota so most of the time it is freezing outside.

Depends on how active your partner is & what they would like. Have you asked?

I'd suggest walks or biking (You could stop somewhere for a snack, but at least it's not a 5-course meal). There's also bowling, mini-put, batting cages, skiing, canoeing, paddleboat, ziplining ropes course, indoor rockclimbing, or take a fun workout class. Hiking can be nice, even in the winter. Just dress warm, find a nice wooden or hill-like area & bring healthy snacks for energy.

I would LOVE if someone took me hiking or on a paddle boat.

Ice skating (so chic-flick adorable), hiking to a picnic, apple picking, lunch tray sledding, walking around a museum, DANCING!!!

cross country skiing or snowshoeing! Pack a nice picnic lunch with you! ice skating is good. I'm in California, so my winter activities are a little different, but rock climbing, even in a gym, is always fun. I love hiking/backpacking/camping. We have recently started golfing, which I thought I would hate, but was actually pretty fun.

Once we had an 'athletic competition' that ran over a few months, 10 activities and even little medals we each got for winning the activity. It included things like mini golf, archery, high speed go-karts, tennis, skateboarding, and whatever else we agreed upon (we each had 2 activities on the list we were good at, then the others where ones neither of us had ever tried). It was super fun, and we could talk trash to each other while gearing up for an event. It only works if you are a both a little bit competitive, but not overly serious.

For your area, maybe snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Do you have any indoor trampoline places?
