Hey all,

After a false start, I am here to stay, I guess. :) My sister got talking about this site to me recently (she's lost 20+) and I figured I'd give it a shot. I am running at 322# at the moment - heaviest I have EVER been! Got damn embarrassing to look in the mirror, and realizing that I was out of breath when I was working kinda upset me too. I'm shooting for 220-230. Seems to be some pretty nice people out here, so.......

    Welcome and good luck. I understant the "I guess". I keep restarting on a regular basis. I just remind myself I am not giving up.

    I saw the topic 'damn the donuts' and had to reply. Donuts and all other things sweet are my downfall. I am trying again to lose weight. I have about 45-50 to lose but would feel SO much better with just 25 of it gone! Good luck to you!! I also have a sister who has now lost over 100 using MFP and consistent exercise. I know it can be done if we stick to it!!

  • Thank you so much for this post! I am/was in the same situation. I was at my highest weight 301 and I consider that my "rock bottom." I had been on and off losing weight but my goal is to stick with it this time. I'm glad to hear of someone that was/is at a similar weight as myself. Add me! :)
