FAT2FIT RATIO HELP!!

Hi guys. So im ready to start the fat2fit ratio program but Im a lil confused about something. When I started MFP i was eating 1200 cal a day and i gave up..recently i upped my calories to 1500 but I did the FIT2FAT calculators and this is what i got.. I am 24 yrs old weight 185 and my height is 5'1.

BMR: 1342

SEDENTARY: 1950
LIGHTLY ACTIVE: 2234
MODERATELY ACTIVE: 2519
VERY ACTIVE: 2803

So i guess my question is when you start out should you start by eating lets say 1950cal if im sedentary and let my body get used to it and THEN do the 20% deficit? Or should I just start with the 20% deficit since DAY 1? What is your personal experience with it? How long did it take you before you started losing weight again? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.

If you have done this on fat 2 fit's website then the amounts you have are the amount you need to lose weight so should already be a couple of hundred under what you would need to maintain at your goal weight though I have run your numbers apart from body fat % and I got:

Sedentary (little or no exercise, desk job) 1726
    Lightly Active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/wk) 1977
    Moderately Active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/wk) 2229
    Very Active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/wk) 2481
Extremely Active (hard daily exercise/sports & physical job or 2X day training, i.e marathon, contest etc.) 2732

That was with a 140 goal weight which is a guess as you didn't say what you wanted to weigh. Just saw on your ticker that your goal weight is 100lbs but I think 140 would be a good interim goal so would probably stick to this first and as you get closer to 140 you could change it.

Doesn't Fat2Fir Radio say to use your current weight as your goal weight or did I misinterpret? Also I think I read to use the sedentary, lightly active, etc. numbers first and then reduce by 20% if those numbers don't work for you.

No. Fat 2 Fit doesn't say that but if you do put in your current weight you will get the amount of calories to maintain your weight. If your goal weight takes you below your BMR they will suggest an interim goal weight hence my number above. I know some people do the TDEE -20% but I just use the website info and it has been working well for me.

From my understanding, when you start the program, you start at the 20% deficit, unless of course, you need to lose less than 10 lbs.

Fat2Fit's philosophy is to eat at your goal weight. Instead of waiting for maintenance, it is just the calorie goal you will live on. I use the sedentary number and then eat back my exercise calories. I cannot deal with eating at 1200 calories, it's just too low.
