Hi
Only looked at this today, so don't no much about it... What do people mean by eat back calories etc ??? Mine says 1200 a day should I eat that amount or try less to loose more weight ?

Never eat below 1200.
When people say "eat back calories" they are talking about eating back the calories they burned while exercising, which is a good idea. What do you have for your weight loss goal per week? 1 pound is recommend if you want to lose weight AND keep it off. Feel free to click on my name and add me as a friend if you want help!0 -

That means when you exercise and log it, MFP will add calories on to your base which is 1200. You are suppose to eat those calories back as MFP has already created a deficit for you and if you don't eat those calories back your deficit will be too large and it may be counter productive to your weight loss.0 -
Alos be aware that MFP over estimates your exercise calories, so do not take it as Gospel. Perhaps use half the figure as a starting point and see how you go?0
