Training Advice

Hi there,
I'm new to the site and am looking for some advice.
I had good success over the last couple of years on weight watchers, but over the last 6 months have stalled/gained/lost/gained etc. It was recommended that I join this site to see if it helped and I have to say, it has been a real eye opener. I started when I was going away for a week so my diary is a bit all over the place (missed days on holidays) so I don't think its the best time to look at it yet until there is more info on it.
I have been aiming for 4 days a week in the gym doing 60 mins(ish) of intense (for me) cardio, but after reading through the forum, I think I should add some strength training. However, I haven't a clue where to start!!
I would love any advice you can give me. Thanks

Since you are already a member of a gym, you could see if there is a personal trainer that could walk you around the weight room and get you acquainted with it and teach you some lifts in proper form. A lot of gyms give you a free session with a trainer before signing up to pay for them.
There are also great programs that you can find out there including Stronglifts, New Rules of Lifting for Women, etc. I personally am a fan of Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle because with that program, you can basically create your own routine and it shows you how.0
