Hi! I'm 48, lots of chronic health issues that aren't weight related, but definitely make it really hard to maintain a healthy weight. MS, psoriatic arthritis and a thyroid condition zaps all my energy. Boredom and depression cause me to want to eat CONSTANTLY. I know what I need to do. So now I'm trying to keep on track, stay positive, and find my motivation.

When health problems have been very bad, I gained a lot of weight. When I felt better, and was more active, I lost 90 lbs. In the past four years, health is bad again, weight up 40+ lbs. So hoping to get it back to a normal level so I can get through the bad times easier, maybe bounce back more quickly.

It's hard, but worth the work. I need to feel like I have some control over my physical well being. Eating healthy and keeping my weight down are the only things I really have any control over. So I'm just gonna do it.

Wish me luck!

Holly
