Was asked if I was related...

to myself! Went to see a friend at her cupcake business (for the kids, I assure you!) And she and her partner weren't there. As I was talking with the cashier, the partner's husband came out of the back, greeted me, and then asked me if I was related to Vanessa. I said "I am Vanessa", which got me a wierd look. As I related the story later in the week to the friend/business owner, she laughed and said he was telling her about it, and said "I don't know what she's doing, but it sure is working!" I love not being recognized, it's my favorite compliment!

    that is fantastic! I had a similar thing happen not that long, saw an acquaintance I hadn't seen since starting my weight loss journey. She had to ask our mutual friend where did she know me from? She didn't recognise me at all. It was such a great feeling :)
