Suspenseful movie recommendations?

Hubby hates scary movies, but I love them. He is going out of town so I thought I'd seize the opportunity to watch some movies. Do any of you have recommendations for suspenseful thrillers? I don't like the gory slasher type movies, but I love a good psychological thriller.

    have you seen Donnie Darko? It's an old one but definitely suspenseful and weird. Requiem for a Dream is also a mess-with-your-brain kind of movie.
