If you're shrinking, you've definitely not plateaued! I'd care much more about the way my pants fit than about the number on the scale, so keep doing what you're doing, you're on the right path!0

Great question, I've been wondering that about myself.
It's very discouraging when your busting your butt and the scale won't budge.
I like to think maybe I've built a little muscle?
Regardless, I've decided to put the scale away for 2 weeks and try not to focus on the number, but rather how I feel and look.
Hope this helps0 -
You aren't gaining muscle on that program, nor that fast even if eating in surplus and lifting heavy.
But you are gaining LBM, which includes muscle and everything not fat mass.
And increased LBM increases metabolism - so good work.
So, you you wear your scale on your back for all to see, or are they likely to see your fit in your clothes?
When your body is done making improvements the exercise is causing, which is weight gain even though fat is burning off, then you'll have just fat and weight loss.
Just hold out, don't do something foolish like eating less and working out more if inches are already dropped - just make your mind over what's better.0 -

You are netting 1400 because following MFP's method and correctly eating back your exercise calories?
Or you are eating in total 1400, and your exercise takes 400-600 off the top for purely mechanical movement energy, leaving your body with 800-1000 to actually work with?
And your body would like to burn how much if you slept 24 hrs a day?

I think I see why you are having problems. And no, you ain't building muscle, you probably don't have the reserves to even get a good enough repair from workouts, forget building more.
Stress messes with hormones and fights fat loss, you still have some at least.
Diet is a stress, frequent and/or intense exercise is a stress, got other stresses?0 -
no im not eating back excercise deficit just eating 14000

and the only stress in my life is that im not losing anymre and im getting married after 12 months and still need to lose 35 lbs0

No, your body is under a huge stress if you are only eating 1400, and expecting it to do anything with the remaining 800-1000 calories that will be good.
It's going to fight you hard for that fat and weight loss.
Now, you could eat even less and workout ever more, lose some good muscle mass which can drop lbs easy. Not 35 lbs though, and you'll be in much worse shape after that too.
If you want to continue a lifetime of yo-yo dieting, that's how to do it.
If you don't want to use BMF the way it was designed, then you might want to try another method so you can still eat the same amount everyday, before you burn off more muscle. Which you are going to do.

I can see from your profile page you are not unfamiliar with the concept of eating for your level of activity, but you seem to think greater deficit is better. It's not as you've just proven.0
