what's more accurate the myfitnesspal calculation on calories burned during a workout or the gym equipment?

    To be honest I wouldn't put too much on either one. I wear a HR monitor & I find for the most part the readings on the machines are way too high. I have always used my readings from my HR monitor so I don't know about the counts from the website.

    Neither are completely accurate. You just have to judge yourself if you should eat more or less of what you burned.

    Agree with those above. It really depends on the machine. The ones in my gym are pretty good, and in theory they should be more accurate because they take into account how hard you are pushing in your workout. Some of the counts on the home machines seem to be pretty off though.
