New to mfp

Hi, my name is Tamara but I also go by "Tami." I'm new to mfp and I'm currently on a journey a "New Beginning" so to speak. I'm enrolled in a bariatric surgery program and sometime before the end of this year I will have had gastric sleeve surgery. I am interested in finding friends no only in my area "High Desert, CA" but also throughout this website. I've never been so excited, nervous and yes scared in my life but I know that I've made the right decision and that the surgery will be the proper tool I need to finally get the weight off and start anew.
