Semi-new!

So, I have had my MFP for awhile now, but have used it on and off. I have been on Weight Watchers for 3 months now, and I started out at 230. I lost 14 pounds, and currently am at 216. I decided (at least until I graduate college in May) I will no longer do Weight Watchers and test out this calorie counting thing. Anyone have any good tips or tricks? Motivation? It would be highly appreciated!

The daily logging of calories that you eat and burn is pretty much it. The hard part is burning more calories then you eat. In the beginning I always stayed under my calorie goal and never eat back the calories earned from a workout. That worked for me, I lose 29lbs. I'm currently in maint. mode. You will pick up more tips and hints along the way that will work for you. I mix my workouts with cardio (love) and strength (need) training for a good fat burning combo.
Feel free to add me as a MFP buddy. I wish you much success.
