I started Insanity (after trying it last summer)March 11th. It's hard, yes, but I am planning to go through with it this time. I love how I sweat, it makes me feel like I am working hard!
My starting weight before Insanity was 180. My goal is really to lose inches (I'm a size 12, I want to be an 8), but I still weigh myself.
I weighed myself today and I weigh 183. Needless to say, I am disappointed. I am coming from weighing 250 pounds. The lowest I got was down to 165, but I gained 15 back...I had done weight lifting, but I still gained a lot of weight. Some of it wasn't watching what I was eating, but I still think that's a lot for still working out...
Anyway, I need encouragement. I want to see that I am losing what I put my hard work into. I need encouragement and advice pertaining to why I am gaining. I think I am starting to see some definition in my belly, but that's it...
Here is some other info:
-I follow the meal guide as best as I can. I am on a budget (college student), so some stuff I don't get, but I try.
-I have been using myfitnesspal. They said my calories are 1610/day. I have been sooo frustrated, though, that I lowered my calorie intake because maybe I am eating too much, or something.
-I do not use shakeology because I can't afford it. However I have EAS protein.
-I do not have a HRM. Also can't afford it right now. I use online calorie calculators.
I would so love an answer to what could be wrong, or even your experience with Insanity. Thanks!
