Keeping warm for morning jogs?

Options
I was kind of hoping by this time of the year it'd be 40 when I woke up to run, well it was low 30's and I just about died trying to run this morning. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for keeping my breath warm in general, the cold air kills my asthma and I got home and felt like I was going to fall over. Not fun. Any help is appreciated.

Aside from a scarf tied over your face, I breath through my nose when my asthma flares while I'm running. When it used to be worse, I used a puffer before I ran and that helped.
