Mexican Hamburgers
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb Maverick® extra lean ground chuck
1 fresh garlic clove
2 tsp Mexican oregano
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
4 Tbsp Pace® cilantro salsa
2 oz Kraft® reduced fat cheese

Directions

1. In a medium size bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper.
Work together with your hands until evenly mixed.
2. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties.
3. Spray the grill with cooking spray and place the patties on the grill.
Cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
4. Remove from the grill and place on plates.
5. Spoon 1 tablespoon of cilantro salsa over top each burger.
6. Grate cheese and sprinkle evenly over each burger and serve.

    Even easier, faster and less mess: Mix salsa and (low fat shredded mexican) cheese in with meat before shaping patties and grilling...Patties can even be individually frozen before cooking then, when ready, defrost and grill.
