Trying to Make a LIFE CHANGE

Hello all - I'm a 34 yr old F (new to the WA area - Lakewood) and have JUST started a new regement - better eatting habits (still not ideal I'm sure but way better then before) and working out (again not INSANITY by ANY means but for me INSANITY)

I am seeing some results for week 1 (4 lbs 4 oz.) which I know they say the first week or two I will see great results and then they will slowly tapper off. I do wonder however about tracking my calories as accuratly as possible. I notice that alot of thing have multiple calorie entries with varies counts (I typically choose the highest for worse case scenario). Same with my workouts. I am doing a home workout Zumba CD which this site does not have a specific option for. I have been entering Dance etc. for my workout and it's only giving me (about 400) earned calories. I'm not concerned with what I'm earning so much as - IS THAT POSSIBLE - that with that much work (YES IT'S REALLY HARD FOR ME) that that is ALL I'm buring with Zumab - I thought it'd be way more then that!

Also this program is saying I shouldnt consume more then 1200 calories, excluding the ones earned working out - Do you all use those calories? I feel like if I dont then I could see better results, but I also worry that if I am shocking my body with working out (And yes my body is SHOCKED - as am I - LOL) then I need those calories to keep my body working as effeciently as possible!

Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appricated!

Also, anyone local, looking for workout support - please do let me know - As I said I'm new to the area and would love to meet some people who are like minded with a healthy life style/goal.

Cheers!
