Heart Rate Query

I recently bought a HRM (Polar FT4) and I have been playing around with it over the weekend.
I noticed that if I got stressed (in this case because I was driving and almost missed my exit) my heart rate made it to 'in the zone' and so after 1hr 12 minutes, I had apparently burned 213 calories for sitting there doing not that much.
I didn't log this as exercise, because, well, it wasn't exercise, but it got me thinking. Is there a difference? Could people technically log this kind of calorie burn after a day of immobile stress?
