Friday is my bf & my date night. We're going to eat at Genghis Grill and then go ice skating - so I should burn at least 300 calories ice skating...so I'll have a pretty good range (about 500 calories?) for Genghis Grill... I've never been there and have no idea what the food is like or what to expect, just that it's "Asianish" lol! Can anybody make some good suggestions? I may skip my afternoon meal so I'm more hungry as I want him to get his money's worth... haha. I don't eat pork and want to try as many things as possible without being a pig or being too full. Ideas, please?

I LOVE that place. I haven't ever really looked up the nutrition though to be honest with you. It's basically like a stir fry and you build your own meals. I think if you stick with veggies and meats you will be okay. The only thing I'm thinking that gets you is the sauces. Probably loaded with sodium. I try to skip the sauces and season mine with lots of spices I know are lower in sodium. Good luck!!It's a very tasty place! You can definitely pig out!

Oooh - I LOVE that place too! They have a really good website where you can "build your bowl" and see the nutritional info for it before you go. I always stray from what I pick online though, because I get tempted by everything when I actually see it in front of me! :) But they have lots of veggies and lean meats to choose from and you can get brown rice as your starch. Hope you have a great night out!

What a GREAT place!!!! I wish there were one in Vegas or Yuma, so I could check it out when I went to visit those areas!
