Hi all,
My name is Candace, I am a 29 year old mom of 3 currently living in Florida.
I had my last son 2 1/2 yrs ago and I have not been able to bounce back to my old body since.
I figured things would eventually level out but I became diagnosed with an illness that requires meds that only pack on the pounds further.
I did a month in a half of p90x about a yr ago. - I dropped 4 lbs and gained some great tone.. but it has all since disapeared.
My diet is VERY poor.
I find myself not eating much through out the day and then starving and shoving random food in my mouth from lack of food later in the evening.
I am really trying to learn how to eat better, and how make a lifestyle change for my future. I know my fitness and over all health is not a quick fix. I am ready to find some sort of happy medium to atleast work toward my goals.
Im really interested in doing lifting. I had no idea it had so many advantages. My husband spent 2 yrs lifting and trying to bulk. When I asked him if it would be good for a female he was very hesitant, but after seeing such amazing results from women. I think it really might be something I might enjoy.
I plan on reading more in depth on lifting as time allows.
I am scared to eat more in fear of gaining even more weight, but something tells me this is what I need to do regardless.
My major downfall and biggest addiction is pepsi! Im working on cutting back, and eventually stopping all together.
I look forward to making friends and learning more about living healthy.

Your down fall can be a great turning point. slowly switch to a light pepsi. Less sugar till it is diet instead. The calories alone is a great kick start. Which bring on the other srart, breakfast, you have to turn on the morning fire to get the burning going on calories if not the body stays on starving mode all day and you burn none. Even if it is just a protien drink to start and lunch too, and some fruit and veggies to keep the burning going , and that way at night you can have more control and make better choices. I'm suprized about the hubby, weight lifting is a great way to go, with in reason, maybe he is afraid you will bulk up too much and that , my husband and I feel, is not the most attractive on woman. BUt if done right and in reason I have seen woman rock it with
weight lifting just watch you goal and limits good luck0 -
request sent good luck!0
