Walking Shoes

I'm going to be buying new walking shoes shortly and was wondering what brands everyone recommends for someone weighing 200 (+/-) lbs. I wear New Balance now, but was curious whether there were better ones out there. Been trying to walk between 2-3 miles per day. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I don't think the brand matters they must have a good arch and be conffy make sure you always walk with your back straight your elbows bent at 90o and swing them keep you eyes looking ahead and always be proud of your walk!!

New Balance are the best, stick with those!

I deal with Plantar Fasciitis and for me there's no better shoe than Brooks Ariel (the women's "Beast"). They're wicked expensive at around $140 a pair but the benefit of less- to non-painful feet is worth it to me. My CW is 219.

go to a local shoe store that specializes in shoe fitting and performance they will look at your walk, feet and everything and give you a good idea of what is good/not then you just pick from 2-3shoes they give you.
