What are you actually eating and how many calories per day? Almost passing out sounds like not enough to eat or some other sickness not related to eating healthy...as in more fibre.

Its been about 8 months since I started eating healthy. I just reduced my junk food intake and fast foods to more veggys, brown bread, water and fruits. Thats when the strange attacks started. I have had about 6 and no one will help me. It all starts the same way. Sever bloating, nausea, sometimes vomiting, and diarrhea. Then all at the same time I feel the palms of my hands itch badly and turn red. Then the soles of my feet itch bad and turn bright red. Then it spreads all over my body and face (mostly around my nose and mouth) and my ears. I have been taken by ambulance 2 because the pain is so bad and disabling. Without running tests or checking me out Ive been told there is nothing they can do because Im not dying at that moment. The last time it happend all the parts that usually just turn red and itch swelled up. I looked like a monster. I went to urhent care still showing signs of what happend and the Dr. Told me there is nothing she can do because Im not dying. I tried to explain to here whats been going on, and at least adk her what she suggests I should do. Instead she kept repeating she cant help me. It all just seemef scripted and she was so cold and had no compassion. She just told me I could just go and I did. Ive had this happen 6 times and have had to put up with the pain, itchynesd and swelling on my own because no one will help me figure out whats wrong. Im super over weight and am trying bot to die, but I feel eating healthy is killing me. Has anything similar happend to any of you? Any suggestions? Im a single mom of two. And Im trying to stay alive.

Get an actual physician and address the issue proactively instead of reactively. The ER and the Urgent Care are not set up to be providing long-term health care; they ARE intended to provide you EMERGENT care. It doesn't sound like it was an emergency so much as just very uncomfortable for you.

Perhaps the first time, they will attempt to treat, but ERs and UCs get very frustrated with patients that continue to return with chronic issues but in between visits are not going to a general practitioner or standard physician for followups or interventive care. The standard expectation on all ER and UC visits is that the patient see their own physician during regular office hour in the next 5 days (depending on the nature of the issue), so if you've not been doing your followup care, there really doesn't sound like there's much you can do. They certainly can't escalate issues if you've still not tried to fix it on a basic level yet. Why haven't you seen your regular doctor?

As for you OP, I agree with the fiber thing...

What a lot of people don't realize about a fast food diet is that it's full of non-complex energy sources, and a lot of people are actually routinely constipated from a medical standpoint when they eat such a diet. When you eat it for so long, you stop noticing those things... and then when you start changing the diet, the body starts letting go some of that build up, leading you to sitting on the toilet for hours the first few days.

I have temporary periods of a few days where I am pooping like crazy and feeling more ill than usual, but it almost always results in a good weight drop. It's like I had finally broken down some of the fat or whatever else and the body is purging the waste. Drink fluids and eat what you can, give it at least 5 days to calm down unless you get much severely worse.

Do you have your food diary of everything you ate those days? Red and itchy is allergic reaction. You need to see a specialist.

While only eight foods (milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, and soy) account for approximately 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions, a person can be allergic to virtually any food.

While the list below is not exhaustive, allergic reactions have been reported to:
    Corn
    Gelatin
Meat (beef, chicken, mutton, and pork)
Seeds (sesame, sunflower, and poppy being the most common)
Spices (caraway, coriander, garlic, mustard, etc.)

Are you allergic to latex rubber? Some individuals with latex allergy will also develop reactions when eating foods that cross-react with latex, such as bananas, kiwi, avocados, European chestnuts, and, less commonly, potatoes and tomatoes, and peaches, plums, cherries, and other pitted fruits.

I have had to change my diet recently a bit because I hit a plateau and it's making me feel horrible. My body is screaming. I think sometimes our Bodies are so used to the certain things we do daily, once we change it, it kind of goes into shock. Take it easy..yeah I need to do the same :/ BTW good job everyone trying to better themselves. Dieting can be so hard... Don't give up! Keep it up!!
