Question about Advocare

So...I have a friend who sells (well, technically she's a distributor) Advocare. I was just curious if anyone has any experience - good or bad - and whether or not I should get it.

I just finished the 24 day challenge and lost 7 pounds. I can't say it was 100% the Advocare although I know it helped. I didn't work out much at all and still lost - ended up losing quite a few inches as well - to the point that people noticed, my clothes fit better and I now feel like I can continue to lose weight.
But, I think the key was changing my eating habits - the Advocare provided the nutrients and vitamins and stuff and I think that allowed me to cut my calories without feeling deprived.
I cut out sugar, pop (for the most part) all fried foods and started eating the things that everyone that's ever been on a diet knows they should eat (lots of grilled chicken and salads) I didn't miss anything that cut out. I have also cut out all "diet" food including diet soda and drink mixes - as much HFC as possible, and frozen "diet" meals. Basically, if it's not fresh or organic or at least unprocessed, I generally pass.
I would highly recommend working out while you're on it, I think that will help to keep the initial loss off
The other thing that helped a ton was that I did the challenge with my 2 friends and we were able to support each other and hold each other accountable. I always that part was silly, but since I felt like I would be letting my friends down if I cheated, I didn't cheat (or at least I confessed when I did!) allowing myself to cheat a little occasionally, kept me from completely quitting.
I'd do it again for sure, although I think for maintenance I would find a cheaper product - I'm looking for something now.
Everything that I tried tasted pretty good and in fact I still do the shakes for breakfast and drink Spark throughout the day.
