Hi ~ quick question, hoping someone can help...
I have the Polar F7 ~ over the last 3 days I've noticed my heart rate lower than typical, and also calories burned are lower than normal (by about 50+ calories) at the end of the workout. I just got the monitor a couple of months ago. I have noticed a couple of times it will say 00 for the heart rate for a few seconds then a number will pop in. Not sure why the numbers are lower (doing same workouts & feel like its the same intensity.
Thanks for any help.

A lower heart rate during exercise is a good thing. It means your heart is getting stronger and doesn't need to beat so much to do the same amount of work. You should check your resting heart rate every so often and update the HRM settings accordingly.
As for the 00 displaying sometimes, be sure you are cleaning the strap as instructed in the manual. Tightening the strap can also help. I notice mine will read 00 if I have it too loose.0
