I’m bored :grumble: so thought I’d share some trivia. Keep me amused and share yours.
Aeschylus is an Ancient Greek playwright who boasted that the only way he would die would be by a strike from the heavens. Well, he was right because he allegedly died from a tortoise falling from the sky onto his head.
I know a tortoise with a foot fetish, who quite regularly tries to hump my wellies.
There is a sport called Welly Wanging that originated in Upperthong, UK, where competitors have to throw wellies as far as possible. It is regulated by the World Welly Wanging Association.
In the UK, taxis are required to carry oats. It dates back to horse drawn carriages, but the law has never been amended.
Oats contain a higher concentration of great stuff, such as protein, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, thiamin, folacin and Vitamin E than many other unfortified whole grains, such as wheat, barley, corn or rice.
In conclusion, eat more oats.
