Tessaro's here in Pittsburgh and Brass Ring Pub in Palm Beach, FL. For Tessaro's, it's just really good gourmet burgers.
Can you believe I've still never been?
But Burgatory makes a TASTY burger!0 -
Buffalo Wild Wings where you can get the buffalitos which are only 380 calories.0

Burger King..but not the British ones. I live on an old US air base and we had the shops here before they pulled the base down..and the Burger King here did the most amazing burgers.0

I'm not a huge fan of the Good ole 'Murican burger. I need spice.
However, the best Good ole 'Murican burger I have had was homemade by a buddy of mine. He would mix 50/50 ratio of chuck and sirloin meat, seperately roughly grind them (like 10 pulses each) and then mix it with salt and pepper. Sometime he'd put jalapenos for me but it was delicious for me without it. He'd ALWAYS use pickle juice on his griddle to "clean" it before cooking and let some pickle juice there to be evaporated.
But the main thing was the cheese. While he was cooking the burgers, after the flip, he's grab 2 huge handfuls of shredded cheese, put it on the burger and cover the burger with a steel bowl and let the heat and steam melt the cheese.
THAT was the best burger I have ever had. Though 5 guys and steak 'n shake aren't half bad either0 -
The Ranger Burger, 4 Seasons, Fort Benning GA.
BIG and 2 handed AWESOME....juice dripping off of your elbow good!0 -
Capital Grille - Kona Coffee Steak - best steak ever! I can't remember the cut of the steak, but it was coated in Kona Coffee and probably some sugar and that caramelized on the steak. Ummmm, now I really want that steak again! Too bad the closest one of those is a 2 hour drive from where I live!
Edit - reading comprehension fail - their burgers are also incredible! They are nice and juicy and ground at the restaurant after being perfectly aged.0 -
5 Guys and Fudruckers...bestest...burgers...ever...
I am DYING to try Walhburger's...NKOTB0 -
Most of the better ones I have had have come from places that aren't chain restaurants. Mostly local bars, pubs, etc.0

It must have been a burger oasis (by that, I mean I cannot seem to remember the name).
I was barely out of high school and went with my mom to the southern part of West Virginia to watch my younger brother in the state Cross Country meet. In the evening, my mom and I were driving back roads and as we got close to Beckley happened upon this restaurant. I remember there were stained glass decorations depicting cowboys and other western scenes. I ordered a burger. It was a full pound, cooked medium well, had melted mozzarella, and jalapenos along with lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles. I remember it was so big I ate a lot of it with a fork.
I’m rarely in that part of the state anymore, so even if the restaurant still existed, I doubt I would be able to find the place.0 -
In and Out Burger, Phoenix. It was 11 PM and I was STARVING0

Roughe in Philadelphia, blue cheese burger with caramelized onions....but THE best burger I had was after a 30+ mile bike ride with my hubby and we made 1/2 pound burgers when we got home. I dunno if it was so amazing because we hadn't eaten for a few hours or because it REALLY was delicious (I'm sticking with the second of the two)0

i fondly remember the Gino's Giant from my youth.
I LOVED the Gino Giant:-)
Best I ever had was Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington, Virginia. Hands down the best0 -
The lamb burger at BLT Burger in the Mirage hotel in Vegas. I had to go back a second time just to make sure it wasn't the countless gin and tonics that made it taste so good. It wasn't. That sucker is delicious!0

Kobe beef burger with foie gras and black truffles @ The Burger Bar in Las Vegas

I like Friday's burgers best so far, but I don't eat them that often and I'm on a budget so I've not had a chance to try out all the various burgers at the various American restaurants since I moved to Bahrain. In Saudi where I lived, it was Friday's, McDonalds, Kudu or KFC. The last few I had were either at Burger King or McDonalds, due to being on a budget, and when we've had more money to go to somewhere decent, Lebanese or Iranian food has won over burgers.0

Montana's Chipotle Firecracker burger with a veggie patty subbed out for the beef
topped with bacon, crispy cajun onions, melted colby cheese, crispy jalapenos, chipotle honey bbq sauce sandwiched between a delicious seedy bun.

I seriously have to go there at least once a month to get my fix0 -
Tailpipes Gourmet burgers and shakes in Morgantown, WV
Its a toss up between their Charger and their Barracuda
The Charger has peanut butter, fried bananas, smoked bacon, pepperjack cheese and grilled red onions.
The Barracuda has grilled pineapple, jalapeno bacon, carmelized onions, mozarella cheese and a sesame-ginger teriyaki sauce.0 -
Bison Burger at Burgatory on Pittsburgh, PA. Unbelivably good.0

I go to Chochkies for the atmosphere and the flair.
Do they all have 15 pieces?0 -
Five Guys. Greasiest, sloppiest, most delicious burger. EVER.
This. Five Guys is the best fast food burger I've ever eaten. Hands down.
It also helps that it was started in my hometown even though it's gone national. I grew up eating Five Guys. It's even found its way into a family tradition.0 -
Chicken burger at Famous Dave's!! The chicken is BBQed
And so juicy. But it is still pretty decent on the calorie end so you can fully enjoy it yummm.0 -
Five Guys.
Red Robin's Whisky BBQ burger with the fried onion bits is also awesome.
I also had a burger in Ottawa once that had avocado and peanut butter on it. That was divine.0 -
When I lived in San Antonio, the best burger I had was at Chris Madrid's. It was a big, old fashioned cheeseburger.
Back in Oklahoma now and the best burger I have had here was at a restaurant in Yukon, OK called Fat Elvus. They have fat everything there. The burger was good size and a little greasy.0 -
Kobe beef burger with foie gras and black truffles @ The Burger Bar in Las Vegas
That one was a bit to rich for me, but the Keller burger (named after the chef) is my all time favorite burger.0 -
Best: Kobe burger at a local place in town. It seriously suprised me.
Best Fast Food Burger: 5 Guys. I spend a lot of time on both coasts, and In and Out < 5 Guys.0 -
