Please can some have a look at my food diary and tell me what you think...

I came on here ages ago and was told I needed to eat more calories as I was barely eating 900 calories, not because I was trying to lose weight (although I did want to lose weight) It was because that was what I could manage while trying to have a healthy diet.

People advised me to eat peanut butter, nuts, avocados to boost my calorie in take, but I HATE all of them.

I started adding a packet of skips crisps, Morrisons own brand milkyway type chocolate and Muller crunch corner yoghurts just to boost my calories (to be fair I can take them or leave them)

I have not gained any weight, but nor have a lost any weight. I am 5ft 2 and weigh 122lbs - 123lbs. I am happy with my size but want to tone up so I am doing 3x a week work out at the gym,

My main aim is to tone up my wobbly tum, I have some pics on my profile (don't know how to add them on here)just so you can get an idea of my size. I have been told I need to lose body fat and clean up my diet, but I don't want to lose too much more weight.

Please can someone, anyone, please help me...

P.S. Tummy wobble is post-baby belly (2 children, youngest 4.5yrs)

ETA: Can't eat too much protein as Ih ave kidney disease :)

Hi, I think you are doing fine. I have almost the same stats as you (age, kids, size) and eat the same if not less sometimes.
I would eat more protein though, especially because you are lifting. You don't want to do all that hard work for nothing, protein feeds your muscles which is was is going to make you firmer and get rid of the "wobble". I try to eat between 80-100 g of protein most days, sometimes I have to make myself a protein shake (powder from wal-mart mixed with water) to get enough. Calories are calories, of course healthy food is better but just getting enough is the main concern, if that means eating chips then who cares.

Give the lifting time to work it's magic, took me about 3-4 weeks so see results on my frame. My tummy was looked mildly pregnant and was super wobbly until I started liftng, I like to do half-deadlifts or stiff leg deadlifts and use my abs to pull the weight. I also do russian twists with a medicine ball 2-3 times a week, 3 sets of 40 reps. I haven't lost weight in a while but I'm sure I lost body fat and put on muscle.

I get your issue with eating enough calories but you are consistently way over on your sugar allowance. I would try and find foods that aren't so high in sugar that can add the calories you need.

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately I cannot increase my protein too much as I have kidney disease and leak protein.

Just edited original post to add LOL

I did a post about this the other day and mentioned that I have a smoothie and fruit which that alone puts me over on my sugar.
