stalled progress 2 months, discouraged!

Hi everyone. I need some motivation, I haven't seen any change in my weight or measurements for 2 months and counting. I get frustrated because my husband started MFP a week after I did and he's lost 18 pounds without hardly trying!
I joined MFP in January and it helped me give up Pepsi and cut way back on junk food. In my first 3 weeks I went from 153 to 146, and lost 3 inches off my hips and waist. Then everything stopped!
I try to keep my calories (after exercise) between 1300-1400. For exercise I run on the elliptical every other day, and do a workout video like Ellen Barret or Jillian Michaels every other day. But the last week or so I've been getting lazy with my food, eating more cookies and junk. Someone told me to ignore my measurements and just compare how my clothes fit, but nothing fits any different, even since I started in January.
A few years ago I lost about 40 pounds after my first baby, it was hard work but I had slow & steady results. So I expected sort of the same thing this time around. I'm not going to quit working out, but I'm finding it more & more pointless to continue the diet. Help please!

Hang in there!
After stalling a few weeks ago I went through my food diary [with the Reports Tab] and looked carefully at the quality of my calories, sugar, protein and more. I cut my carbs in half [by cutting wheat, potatoes], upped my protein and cut my sugar [to mostly fruits].
Suddenly I'm losing again. I don't believe in "one size fits" all, but you might try looking at your diet with the Reports function and see what you can find.
Good luck!0
