Very Low triglyceride levels

I never thought this would be an issue but apparently I have low triglyceride levels. (less than 25mg/l). Although I would like to get down to a weight that I feel good in my own skin. I am a firm believer of balance diet. I try to eat 40/30/30 of protein/carbs/fat . From what gather and I have my dr. appt on Friday, this low level could be indicative of malnourishment, extremely low fat diet, malabsorbtion (none of these are a problem at least on the eating end) or indicator of something more serious like a thyroid problem, cancer or heart condition.

So anyone out there experiences this and what did it turn out to be? Thanks
