New to board and looking for motivation

Hello! I have been using the site for about 2 weeks now, mostly from my iphone app, but want to take things a step further by adding some motivation and accountability.

I am 37 and a mother of 4. I work full time and usually have no motivation when I get home. My work has a decent Gym, so my goal is to start using it in the mornings before I start my day. Today was day one of that.

In addition to using this program, I synch the calories I track here with the BodyMedia Link which tracks my caloric output. My concern is whether I am accurately tracking what I put in my mouth, but at least I seem to be getting the first step down, which is the consistant tracking and recording of meal. Hopefully the accuracy will also come.

    Welcome to MFP! It sounds like you are starting with a good solid program for your journey.

    The only way to be sure you are accurately entering your food is to weigh and measure everything. Eyeballing is not as accurate. I will send you a friend request and we can support each other!

    I completely agree with nczuczu. You sound like you have a good, solid plan for your journey. Also, I measure as often as I can. A good digital food scale is worth it's weight in gold. :love:
