can anyone give me advice please

ive just calculated my bmr and its 1,677 and my tdee is 2,101 set at moderate exercise 3/5 days a week. is my tdee total what i should be eating a day?? i generally workout about 5/6 days and have been eating in and around 1,600 calories a day. any advice is welcome x:smile:

    It depends on your goals. But eating at TDEE is basically for maintaining your weight.

    Eating at 1,600 should provide you with a decent loss, not too fast or too slow, probably around .5-1lb a week.

    I would say trust your body. If you don't feel tired or like you are under eating then stick at the lower calorie count. However, be careful not to trick yourself into thinking you need less as this lowers your metabolism as your body thinks you're starving yourself. This is what happened to me. I thought I didn't need to eat back my exercise calories or miss meals etc, and the weight just didnt come off and I felt really tired all day. xx

    You want to be a bit below your TDEE to lose weight (20% is a good starting point for most). And don't eat back your exercise cals because you are basing daily cals on TDEE.
