so last sept my fasting glucose was elevated and A1C was 6.3 and i was started on a low dose of BP medicine. this was the first time my weight yielded any significant abnormal labs. i was sooo upset. there was no way i was going to take any insulin. it still took me 4 months to really get myself in gear and make some changes.
the biggest change was joining MFP 3 months ago. i've lost almost 20 pounds (1/3 of my total weight loss). i had my A1C checked last week and it's down to 5.3. it's normal! WAAAAAHHHOOOOOOO.
