Time-saver to shred chicken breast

I looked and didn't see this on here, so apologize if it's a repeat.
If you have a lot of boneless chicken breast to shred, and a stand mixer, this is fast and works great. I'm pretty sure it was in a comment on the SkinnyTaste site.
Just throw your cooked chicken into the bowl of your mixer and mix with the paddle attachment on medium, and watch it. It only takes a few seconds, and then it's perfectly shredded for soup or tacos.

    Wow, great idea. Thanks!
  • Does the chicken have to be hot?

    Thanks!

Wow, sorry. I'm not very good at this (didn't know how to tell anyone responded)! I put it in hot-ish, but cold probably works too (good for chicken salad!). Forks are great, but if you have a lot (like I did to make a pan of green chile enchiladas) this only takes a few seconds, and we can use a few extra minutes in our days!
