  • I don't stop eating based on time. If I'm hungry, I eat. If I'm not hungry, I simply stop eating. Try not to over analyze it and as cheesy as it sounds, just listen to your body.

I stop eating when I die. I don't have time restrictions other than that.
After I move on, I only will eat human brains.

Generally I try not to eat past 7pm as that is about 12 hours from my first meal of the day. So I technically fast for 12 hours (7pm to 7am) and then have 2-4 meals from 7am to 7pm. It works for me as I can get to sleep by 10pm and wake up at 6am without a problem since I stuck to this (well most of the time).

And if the sounds are coming from your rear, take this

    when the movie ends :)
  • I don't have a cutoff (although I go to bed like an 80-year-old; see also 9pm bedtimes, lol), I just try not to eat heavy food or lots of protein right before bed because it disrupts my sleep.

When it's all gone. Or they kick me out.

No, wait - that's when I stop drinking.

I don't think that calories can tell time:) You should probably just eat if you are hungry
  • I wake up at 430am to catch a train to work. I usually have breakfast at 7:30 once I get settled at work. Lunch usually around 12:30 and a snack around 2pm. Usually eat dinner around 7pm. Dinner is always my biggest meal. I'm usually full after dinner and don't need to eat again because I go to bed at 10pm.

Calories are calories as far as I'm concerned, I stop eating when I'm done and I keep eating if I'm hungry or craving. Especially if there's bacon or chocolate involved. Or wine. Oh let's be real anything delicious.

I will cop to logging food eaten after midnight as "tomorrow" though.
  • I go to bed around 12-1. I usually eat breakfast around 10, lunch around 2, dinner around 6:30 or 7, then at about 9-10 I eat a plate of healthy snacks (fruit, veggies, crackers).

I couldn't have a cut-off time - I often work late, tonight it's nearly 5am and I've just finished. If I'm hungry, I make a sandwich with one slice of wholemeal bread, a scrape of butter, thick marmite and lettuce. I cut it into 4 tiny triangles and eat it slowly with a drink. That staves off serious hunger pangs... and if necessary, I just use some of tomorrow's calories if I want to eat more.

I try to make it 2 hours before bed so I don't have nightmares.

For me it's mostly to help curb going to the bathroom at night. I go to bed roughly at 10 and my cut off is roughly 8pm. If I have a late night I'm not bothered by it. I just like having a target stop point.
