When were you the best version of YOU?
Just curious as to how people assess themselves--so really you can answer it in any way that you see fit!

Back in high school (the early years) I had a great body, but I was so self-conscious, shy, and just very unsure of myself. Now I'm losing weight and tackling those other issues, so hopefully the best me has yet to come! :bigsmile:0

I would say I am the best version of me right now.
Yes, I may be working to reconfigure my body, but I've never eaten healthier or been as active as I am right now.
My outlook now that I am maintaining a healthier lifestyle is so much more positive in general.
How about you? When were you the best version of YOU?0 -
In my 30s very fit then it started goin downhill.

Work in progress - I think I'm the best me professionally right now but I've got a long way to go in other ways.0

In my 30's I was still looking for my career path.

Any answer in the past has to be a wrong answer, no?0

Now.
I had a better body before kids. I had a great career too but I was a total heartless bish.
Having kids, finding faith and being widowed in my 30s made me a better person... and now my body is healthy again. I appreciate it more for what it can and has done than for what it looks like.0 -
That is the best topic of the day!!!!
I am currently the best ME that I have ever been. I won't bore you with all the reasons. Suffice it to say that it has to do with inner peace and tranquility.0 -
Right now... I am 20 pounds lighter than I was on my (first) wedding day and in much better shape. I am also happier with my life and more secure than I have ever been. Life just keeps getting better.0

Two years ago (age 58 then, 60 now). I was at an awesome weight, in the best shape I'd ever been in, happy, secure, motivated, in love and loved back. I'm still most of those things. My weight crept up 20 pounds, but that is gone now. I'm recovering from hip surgery which, quite frankly, threw me for a loop. I'm still recovering from that, both mentally and physically. I'm also suffering from an eye issue that will require extensive surgery (vision loss is tough on anyone, but I'm an artist so it's been very challenging) but I'm one strong lady so I know I'll be just fine and be at my best again in no time. My career is flourishing, my husband of 2 years adores me and I just see this as a hiccup in what is otherwise the best time of my life.0

Hmmm..I'd say physically was my first year in college. Before I developed an eating disorder or ruined my body. Mentally/Emotionally--I'd say now. I'm a work in progress but I will soon be married to the man of my dreams and I have a sense of peace that I've never felt before. I know that things will continue to get better for me as I stay focused on God's plan and not my own.0 -

This is awesome! I'm happy to have made a topic worthwhile. Also, I'm sure your reasons wouldn't bore me.0 -
My best version? This version. Right now.0

Any answer in the past has to be a wrong answer, no?
No, there are no wrong answers IMO.0 -
I am the best version of me right now, for so many reasons. Physically, emotionally, musically...I'm better than I have ever been in my life. I still have a ways to go to reach my ultimate goals, but that's all part of the journey.0

My best weight/age was 7 lbs 14 oz shortly after being surgically removed from my mothers loins. :oP
But as an adult. Now. 31 and 169. I weigh less now than I did when I got my license at 16...by about 25 lbs.0 -
I would absolutely consider the me right now the best me. Age 35, happily married, with one son.
I have to admit that there were quite a number of years in my late teens and early 20's that are such a blur that if I could recall them I might change my answer...the best part about then...I had visible abs...0 -
Now.
Wonderful Wife
Best shape I've ever been
Good Job
I guess I should remember this next time I feel like whining about some BS0 -
Physically: I was 12 and was in level 7 in gymnastics. No idea what my weight was but I was built amazingly (well minus the boobs).
Every other way: Right now. Mentally stronger than ever before and loving my life.0 -
