Best time of day to weigh in

So, I'm trying to keep the scale hidden except for weigh-in day every several weeks seeing as before I had gotten addicted to weighing multiple times a day. Now I know that's neither very healthy or accurate. Since I'm allotting a certain day every several weeks, I want to keep the time of day consistent too. When is the best time to weigh that would be my most real calculation? I used to do first thing in the morning, but though my constant weighing I found that I lose more water later in the day and seem lighter.

This, for sure. I noticed my weight fluctuates a lot during the day depending on food, water and working out.. So I only weigh myself first thing in the morning.0 -

Definitely first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom. You want to be fasted, with the least amount of excess water in you. You can gain up to 3-5 lbs. in one day just from food and water retention.0
