Hey all, more "dumb blonde" questions from Becca, enjoy :drinker:
(Please note I mean no offence to blondes, it's purely a turn of phrase I use for myself when I think I'm being silly.)

So I started at my new gym on Monday, also went yesterday and have my bag to go today. Today I feel rough as a badgers bottom!

By most people's standards I'm not doing much but considering I'm very unfit (and a smoker, booo hisss I know) I am feeling it and pushing myself to just over my comfort zone. I'm putting feeling poorly down to getting a cold but could it be anything to do with jumping head first into the exercise or lacking in something beacuse I'm doing more and if anyone else has had this did you do or take anything (legal) to feel better.

Other option is I'm just being a massive wimp, need to just man up and get on with it. (most likely option)

Ta for reading :flowerforyou:

Try not to get all gung-ho and hit the gym every day if you're just starting out - your body may just need a rest day.

Unsolicited advice: stop with the smoking - it'll kill you no matter how thin you are and it's counterproductive to getting fit and healthy. (Steps off soap box...sorry!)

You're doing some weight training, right? I find that muscle soreness is actually worse for me on the second day. Lots of squats and lunges on Monday = sore legs and butt on Wednesday. Could it be something like that?

I agree with the person who said you should ease into exercising a little if you haven't been doing it. Going from nothing to 3 days a week is great progress and may be more manageable, and then when you start getting into a rhythm you can add more workouts in.
