So I'm going to start P90X on May 1st as that's the day I completely finish university for the year and I'll have 3 months of free time to get in shape but I have a couple of questions that I can't really find the answers to using google.
1. I tend to catch colds quite often (I have a terrible one right now) and when I get a cold I'm usually out for about 5 days. If I'm in the middle of P90X and have to stop for 5 days, can I just pick up where I left off and see the same results?
2. Are the meals in the nutrition plan difficult to prepare? I'm really not much of a chef and so this is the thing that's putting me off the most. I read a snippet of one of the meals for a day and it's all things I've never heard of before. Would I be able to substitute different food and see the same results?
3. If you live in the UK and used P90X, where did you purchase it from? I had a look on amazon and the reviews are all rants about the DVDs not playing in the UK. So I looked on the beachbody website and they only offer shipping to the US or Canada.
Thanks for the help.

I'm on week 5 of p90x. I only follow the macro recommendations in the nutrition guide. I haven't made any of the recipes. As far as you getting colds a lot, I would talk to a doctor honestly. If you are getting them that often you may have a weak immune system. I'm not sure though about stopping and starting back up. I would connect with a beachbody coach and see what they recommend. good luck.0

Edit: I only stayed in phase 1 of the nutrition plan for about 3 weeks. Was getting sick. My body doesn't do well on low carb. I moved to phase 2 and started feeling much better, but even the guide book says not to stay in phase 1 too long because you will lose energy.0 -
I might have a low immune system but my entire family gets the same colds quite often because of the line of work my dad is in, he catches them quite a lot and isn't very considerate about keeping them to himself. So every time he brings a cold home, everybody gets it. Between september and december last year I think I went through about 5 or 6 colds.0

Beachbody UK do it. http://www.beachbody.co.uk/product/fitness-training/p90x-workout.do
Don't buy from anywhere apart from BB or Amazon as there are loads of dodgy copies around. Do you have a multi region DVD- if so you will be fine.
Bb has a money back guarantee- I think- check up in their website.0 -

Once you start workingout, I don't think you'll catch your dad's cold as often0 -

1. I used to get sick ALL of the time. If I got a old it quickly turned into bronchitis and if I didn't get meds I'd get pneumonia (I have a very bad immune system) so I'd be sick for at least 2 weeks. Since I've started exercising nearly 2 years ago I've been sick once and that only lasted a couple of days. Even when my toddler was sick and wiping her nose all over me then hubby got sick, I never got it. If you do get sick for a week just pick up where you left off.
2. No I've looked at them and they are easy. I don't actually use the meal plan, I just eat clean and healthy food but if you're new to fitness and nutrition I'd follow it for at least a month so you can get idea of the things you should be eating.
3. Like someone else said, beachbody.co.uk
P90x is my fave program. I've been doing it since last June (took a 3 month break in that time) and have gotten great results. I did the lean program first to cut fat but I'd recommend doing the classic then lean if you feel you need to. Just stick with the program plan and do what it says and you'll look fab by the end!! (I also saw my biggest results in phase 2 so don't get discouraged)
