Illness and Nutrition

I have an illness called Narcolepsy and am looking for some advice. So basically I'm missing brain chemicals that regulate the sleep cycles. I need to know what are the highest energy foods I can eat. Things that give normal people the biggest boosts. I don't know that this will help me, but I'm going to try it at least. Please help with this as I am kind of a novice in the nutrition range. I'm also just starting out on here.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas for me? I am a vegetarian for moral reasons, so I will not in any way eat an animal! I love them all too much so please don't try to force that :) I still use dairy products at this point though.
