You can check out a lot of the Gluten Free sites out there. Quinoa is used as a grain substiute since it's a seed. I love using it in summer salads with things like cucumber, tomato, and herbs. I've also seen on Cooking Light, I believe, with more mexican flair- with black beans and cilantro. I didn't know there were different kinds...0

I don't have a recipe site, but I can offer up one of my recipes.
2c quinoa, brown
4c water
salt
2-3 T olive oil
1/2c pecan halves
1/2c dried cranberry
1t dried parsley
lemon juice
Boil up the quinoa until it's about cooked, Drain it out, and put back into the pot, with the heat changed to very low. Add in the other ingredients, stir well, and then cover with a paper towel or two, and let sit on warm for about ten minutes or so. Add in some cracked black pepper.
It should steam nicely, loft up, and test pretty good.0 -
